Echoes

Echoes is a title sequence for an independent short film. The brief was to create something that sat in the gap between documentary and fiction — unsettling, but not aggressive.

Typographically, the sequence uses a single typeface at varying weights, with characters disintegrating and reforming across the frame. The motion language was deliberately imprecise — nothing eases perfectly, nothing lands cleanly.

The colour grading leans into deep desaturated blues punctuated by brief flashes of warm amber, mirroring the film's emotional arc.
